powerpoint
This blog is really frustrating me. Each time I try to log in, it won't let me. I end up having to make a new account, and I really hope that I am going to recieve my points for this part of technology. Otherwise, I've been doing great. Today I used an already made PowerPoint for a lesson on perimeter. The PowerPoint was used from a math resource entitled Exploring Math. My SBTE let me borrow it and I decided to use the powerpoint for today's lesson. It went really well and it sure did beat having to create a powerpoint all my self. I do highly recommend however, that before you use a powerpoint file make sure you know how it is going to play. At the beginning of this particular powerpoint there were certain addition review questions that I decided to omit. Instead I focused on perimeter and had students pretend they found a treasure chest and needed to find the perimeter of it to pull it from the water. I felt this was a better way to focus their attention on the lesson.
